As it is half term and some of the regulars are away, if you are planning to attend this Friday 30th May 2008, please could you preferably by 5pm Thursday.
We will be looking for somebody to run the session and/or PB2 qualified drivers for the safety boats.

FYT Club 2008 (Friday Youth Training)
Most Fridays
6pm - 8pm
Aimed at the older / more experienced sailors who want to spend extra time on the water with coaching improving their sailing and racing skills, and to enjoy some time off the water with their friends.
Open to single and double hander junior and youth class boats including Optimists, Toppers, Fevas, Laser Radials and Laser 4.7s.
Sailors must be able to sail an efficient triangular course and self launch and rescue (following a capsize). Although formal qualifications aren't necessary, the level expected of sailors would be equivalent to IOCA G3 (for Optimists) and RYA 3 (for all other classes).
Rigged and ready to sail at 6.30pm.
Finish about 8pm.

Sailing, Social, Friends & Fun!
As a club aimed specifically at the Youth sailors of Burghfield we need to know what you'd like to see happening on the Friday evenings.
As with previous years, there'll be sailing (obviously), but we'd also like to expand the social side, and hopefully, with support and enthusiasm from the youth and their parents we'll have FYT club running almost every week and perhaps on a regular basis through out the winter too.
So, what activities would you like to see?
Mini Talks? First Aid? Race Management? BBQs? Pizza Evenings? Knots and Nibbles? Quiz Nights? Discos? Off-site activities (swimming, sno-tubing)?
