JULY 2015

Door code

Important Notice - Door Code Change

Following a recent Committee meeting a decision was made to change the access door code and gate codes for the Sailing Club on a more regular basis.

The codes have been changed from 15:00hrs 29 July 2015 (today).

If you have a Club key fob these will continue to provide access to the building.

If you do not have a key fob, please call in/contact the Club Office for the new code.

The gate code is now different to the door code. For out of hours access to the club site (i.e. when the club office and BSTC are closed), please contact Sharon or Virginia on in the first instance, or in an emergency/out of hours please text Sharon on 07746 393275 with your name, membership number and Postcode.

We do have spare key fobs available. If you would like one please contact the Club Office.

It could be you...

Today the club hosted a luxury lunch to help launch the search in Reading for an unclaimed £1m National Lottery prize.

With the clock ticking on an unclaimed £1million and private yacht getaway prize from the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on 24 April, 2015 from a ticket bought in Reading, The National Lottery treated members of the Burghfield Sailing Club to a taste of life aboard a luxury private yacht.

The elusive winner is one of ten players from the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on Friday 24 April 2015, who won a guaranteed £1m prize plus a luxury private yacht getaway. The lucky ticket-holder only has until Wednesday 21 October, 2015 to claim the prize.

The winning Millionaire Maker code from the ticket bought in Reading is TTR 092 858

Sailability

Help Burghfield Make Sailing Accessible to All

Burghfield Sailability's aim is to get disabled people on the water (preferably in boats).

We would welcome anyone who could:
  • help with administration
  • help with making teas and coffees
  • help launch and recover boats
  • help as crew or helms in boats
  • help with publicity and fund raising

The different roles have varied levels of staying dry and of sociability.

It is very rewarding to see how much pleasure we provide for so many people and the volunteer team is very sociable and fun to be with.

If you can help a little or a lot Burghfield Sailability would love to see you.

Please Contact
