Open Events at BSC

• There is parking for around 75 cars at the club, and up to 100 if everyone is very careful! Please park in the carpark on the left, just inside the compound.
• Unloading of boats should be done in the carpark and then wheeld to the shore
• RIBS and other larger craft should be taken around the clubhouse to the left for launching next to the jetty.
• The clubhouse is normally open from about 9:00 AM on the day of an Open Meeting, with coffee from a machine just inside.
• The canteen for coffee and bacon / egg butties is open from about 9:30 AM, with hot and cold lunches also available.
• The on-site chandler (run by an experienced RS400 racer) is normally open from 10:00 on the day of an Open Meeting.
• Launching is available across a wide front, and you can expect a sail of about 5 minutes to the start line in an Easterly, or about 10 minutes in a West or South-West wind.
• If you wish to leave your boat at the club on the night before an Open Meeting, please contact the Club house Manager, to ensure you know when the compound will be unlocked.
