It is with great regret that this weekend's Merlin Rocket ST Open has been postponed owing to adverse weather forecasts
The Open Meeting organiser has taken the decision to postponed the Merlin Rocket Open Meeting on Saturday due to the adverse weather forecast, we are extremely disappointed, however will be working with the Merlin Rocket Association to re-schedule the event for later in the year. RS Aero Open 2024
Fifteen RS Aeros were greeted by a blustery Burghfield with all the promise of an exciting day's racing that did not disappoint! The fleet divided cleanly for Class racing with RS Aero 7s and RS Aero 5s and it was all on for 4 races, split by a nice lunch break in the club to recuperate! FIre Inlands Results
A turnout of 9 boats were treated to Burghfield at its gusty best! The morning racing gave the sailors some testing conditions, massive gusts and rain across the lake caused capsizes and planing reaches, which gave the Balcony fleet some great viewing and obviously in their heads race wins!
