Oppie Club pre-season Parents Briefing
Our pre-season Parents Briefing is now confirmed for Saturday 23rd March, starting by 10:15am in the clubroom.
During the briefing, new parents and sailors can find out everything they'll need to know before the seasons sailing starts and everyone will have the chance to meet the coaching team for this season. Registration forms are attached for both the Oppie squads and the Transition/Cruising squad.
This season will see our group lose a number of key parent coaches and supporters, as their sailors move into other fleets. It will be imperative that more parents now step into coaching and support roles, to keep Oppie Group thriving.
Right now would be the best time to join the support team, whilst there are a lot of experienced parents available to support you. During the parents briefing, there will be plenty of opportunity to chat with the existing coaching team and discuss how you can best support the group.
Some parents are planning to bring along outgrown sailing clothes, so bring some cash if you want to save some money kitting out for the season.
