Burghfield Sailing Club together with our partners the RYA approved Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre, Reading together create a thriving activity centre based in the Thames Valley.

There are exceptional sailing facilities for competitive and recreational sailors alike, on our spectacular 200 acre lake.

The club has a healthy membership of enthusiasts who are passionate about all aspects of the sport. As a members' club, activities at the club are run by the membership, creating an active, vibrant and friendly community.

Whether a complete beginner, an experienced recreational sailor, or a competitive racer, the club offers the facilities and environment to sail throughout the year with like-minded people.

We are also a centre for Sailability, the RYA charity that supports disabled sailors.During the COVID-19 pandemic we have been able to operate safely giving members the opportunity to enjoy everything Burghfield has to operate.

I hope my monthly Sailing News and other communications keep you up to date with what is happening. Also please check the club's website regularly to find out what is happening. Of course, it's no substitute for experiencing the real thing or meeting fellow members so please visit us to find out what Burghfield can offer you.
