Optimist Winter Open

A full one day Optimist event with a beginners (regatta) fleet and a main fleet.

We have loads of water and the long range forecast is looking good for our optimist open on "bonus day" 29th February.

This year we have the privilege of James Parker-Mowbray joining us for the day as coach. James is the lead coach for the RYA national boys Optimist squad and will be providing briefings before the racing and feedback after. He will also be on the water coaching the Regatta fleet.

James will also be running open Optimist training with the AWSC Reading at Burghfield the next day (Sun 1st March) and you will be welcome to leave boats overnight for this.
