Children should bring a wetsuit, water shoes/booties, buoyancy aid, swimmers, towel, and something warm to wear afterwards. At the start/end of the season or if the weather is cooler, a warm hat, gloves and waterproofs are also recommended.

Grown-ups need wellies/water shoes, and a buoyancy aid if going afloat.
